- 80 and 100 grits are typically used for artificial nails. These coarser grits are made to remove material quickly. May also be used for natural nails if you have thick nails. Use higher grit after to shape, smooth and finish your nails. Not recommended for the top of the nail.
- 180 and 240 grits are good for both artificial and natural nails. 180 is the most used to shape and finish nails. If you would like a smoother finish, we recommend you use a higher grit. 240 is recommended as a fine grit for the top of your nails. If you would like a smoother finish, simply use a higher grit.
